A tight par 5 starts your round at Prairie Isle. Long hitters can go for the
green after a good drive. Beware of the wetlands on the left side. Laid-up
second shots should be aimed towards left, green- side bunkers. Placement,
not distance, is the key. Hint: Hole is all uphill.

A good drive on this short par 4 leaves you with a medium to high iron, for
the second shot, to a green that’s guarded by traps in front and on the
right. A pond is hidden in back. The green is large and sharply sloped to
the right.

Driving accurately on this tight and rolling fairway is important.
Off-fairways hits find a water hazard on the right and moguls/ trees on the
left. A good drive leaves a short iron to a long and narrow, uphill green.

This short, dogleg hole demands a perfect tee ball aimed at the corner. This
sets up a short, second shot between trees and over a small pond to a
steeply, back to front, sloped green.

The redesigned fifth hole is a narrow par 3 over water with a large green,
guarded by two sand traps on either side. The green is sharply sloped from
back to front and will create putting problems if you’re not very careful.
Make sure to use enough club off the tee

The hole is longer than it looks! From an elevated tee you must avoid the
fairway bunkers. The long second shot will be with a fairway wood or iron to
a flat, deep green.

This is the number one handicap hole. Distance is a factor, but placement of
your drive and second shot is the key to this hole. The large green is
elevated and requires an accurate approach shot or the large, left,
greenside trap will get your ball.

Prairie Isle’s signature hole is a beautiful, down- hill par 3. The tripled
tier tees present a tight shot to a green surrounded by water. A crisply hit
iron is a must. Bring your stra- ight shot and camera with you on this
picturesque hole!

Turning towards the club-house, the ninth is a long, uphill par 4, demanding
a straight drive between two stands of trees. The se-cond shot leaves a long
iron or wood to a large, well-trapped green.
